Show Pictures

Hi everyone!

I hope your week has started off to be a good one.I have been taking it easy...LOL.I am still pretty drained from all the prep before the show and then the show this past Saturday.I don't have too much to say about the show....it was bad from the start. There was no organization,no one to give you information or even to say thank you for doing the show.We made the best of it and got our booth set up.It was very hot and thank goodness we didn't get any afternoon storms like they were calling for.I was on the very end,I have never been on the end and our booth and 2 others were with all the food....that has never happened to me.Needless to say no one came to our end unless they wanted food so we didn't get a lot of sales. It was a very disappointing day but we made the best of it.I had a good time laughing and talking with my friend Sundae. She was in with me selling her primitives. We had a nice booth and got a lot of nice compliments, just not a lot of people buying.I do know that I will never do this show again.I wanted to post some pictures of the booth and there are a couple of me and my friend Sundae.I am in pink and Sundae is in blue.If you see anything in the pictures that you are interested in just email me or give me a call and I will give you all the information.

I am taking this week off to get rested up but I am already getting the itch to start sewing again.I will be helping Mark get our garden planted this week since he plowed up everything yesterday and of course we have yard work to do so there will be a lot to keep me busy.I hope you all are enjoying nice, sunny days.

Have a nice week!

Show News

Hi everyone!
I hope you all are having a nice weekend. We are finally getting some nice Spring weather here in NC.I would have loved to get out in it but I had too much work to do inside trying to finish things for the show this coming weekend.I wanted to let you all know about the show details. The show is:
The Cherry Blossom Festival
Main Street Cherryville,NC
Sat. April 25,2009 10:00am-5:00pm

My booth will be in front of McGinnis Furniture. There will also be a stage in that area.It is the East Stage. So just look for McGinnis Furniture and I will be in that area.
It looks like there will be lots of vendors, food, kid's rides, music,a car show, etc. It should be a fun day for everyone!Let's all hope for a nice, sunny day and no rain until after 5:00...LOL.I hope you will make plans to come out to the show and see me.I would love to meet some blogging buddies from the NC area or from any area...LOL.I also hope to see lots of my customers too.It has been awhile since I have done a show so I would love to see everyone and visit for awhile.Well I better go for now and go get back to those last minute things that I need to finish.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Tammy

Whatcha Workin On Wednesday

Hi everyone,

I want to apologize for being so behind in posting.I am trying to stay busy working on things for the show on April 25th.I still have so much to do and not much time left.I also had everyone at my house Easter Sunday for dinner so I had to take a day off to clean my house, cook and bake and then Sunday by the time everyone left I was too tired to work on anything.

I am finally getting back to Whatcha Workin On Wednesday and my post for today is...I have been working on dolls and I am still working on dolls.I am working on other things too but this week has mainly been devoted to working on dolls. Here is a picture of some dolls that I just finished. They are patiently waiting to go to the show...LOL.I am working on 2 dolls right now plus I have stitchery pillows that need to be stuffed so I better go for now and get back to my sewing room. Please check back for all the details about the show.I will be posting about it over the weekend and I will have more pictures of things I am making.

I hope everyone will have a great day and enjoy the nice Spring weather!

Prim hugs,

Laundry Swap Goodies

Hi everyone,

I am behind once again and missed Whatch Workin On Wednesday but I can tell you that I am trying to stay busy working on things for a show the end of this month.

I got a nice surprise in the mail Monday. It was my swap package from Birgit(The Primitive Country Bug).We were swap partners for the Laundry Room Swap that Char(The Pickled Pepper Patch)organized.I immediately tore into that box!Birgit had everything so nicely wrapped that I hated to tear the wrapping but you know I did...LOL.She was too good to me!She had that box full of nice prim goodies! She made me the cutest framed Laundry Day stitchery.I never make myself stitcheries so I will cherish this one.It will look great in my laundry room. She also made me a pillow with a cute little clothespin doll.I love it and the color is just perfect!I have always wanted one and now I have one!She also made me something else that I have always wanted and said I would make myself one but just never did,a really cute Folk bird on a covered box.I love it!She also made a really primitive grubbied jar that says Primitive Blessings. Also in my swap goodies was a package of Crow Fixins,I love rosehips! There was a really nice red star carrier and a cute fabric tag.She also put in a really good smelling jar candle. The scent is Apple Jack. She also put in a package of her beautiful handmade cards. If you don't have any of Birgit's cards you should get some. She is so talented!I can't wait to send some to my family and friends. She also put in a box of Skittles but Mark got those...LOL.Birgit was a great swap partner!I really enjoyed doing this swap and the best part of it was that I made a new friend in Birgit!I haven't got to put out my swap goodies yet because we will be painting my laundry room soon but when we do get it painted I will be taking pictures of all my swap goodies in my laundry room and now my break is over and I better head back to my sewing room.I hope everyone will have a nice day!
