Canister set and holder

Hi everyone!

I just had to make a post to brag on my sweet hubby. He made a primitive canister holder for me.I got the tutorial from Char's blog The Pickled Pepper Patch.Thank you so much Char!I think he did a great job considering he just recently started making wood things.I painted the canister holder black over mustard and I distressed it.I bought the glass jar canisters at Walmart. They had silver lids and that was not getting it so I painted them black and they look so much better!I put vintage labels on them to make them look more primitive.I think they look great!I bought the labels from Susie at Yankee Lane Primitives.Susie has the best labels!I am very pleased with my new canisters and holder!I hope to have more pictures of the things that Mark has made for me.He just recently made a bowl rack for me and I am going to paint it today.I am hoping the rain will hold off so I can get it painted and it can dry.I have to say a big thank you to my sweet hubby Mark!I love you honey!I hope everyone will have a great week!

Prim hugs,

Tammy

  2. I've been eyeing those jars at WM too. Seeing them with painted lids... ok... now I NEED them.
My problem is, I don't want just 2 or 3.. I want a dozen of them. Think Santa will bring WM jars?
